When a purchasing a white teapot, there may be questions to be asked. I have placed together this bullet list of six frequently asked questions, and their answers, with the hope of helping you determine which white teapot is the best one for you.

Can I brew whole leaf tea in a white teapot?
You can make whole leaf tea in your white tea cup if it comes with the infuser. In case your white teapot doesn’t come with its own diffuser, you can purchase a tea ball separately, which works just like a teabag for your whole leaf tea.

What are white teapots manufactured from?
White teapots are manufactured of glossy all white porcelain. That makes it safe and sound to put in both the dishwasher as well as the microwave.

Exactly how should I clean the inside of the white teapot?
Brewing different kinds of teas in your white teapots may leave a residue from the last taste of tea you used. To clean the inside of a teapot, add 1 cup of vinegar to one cup of hot water inside your teapot for about an hour. That removes the residue and the smell of former brewed teas.

Can white teapots make a great present?
White teapots will make a good present since the white color flows with all your decor. You’ll be able to match the white teapot with black cups, black and white cups or white cups that possess a design. You’ll be able to even create a teapot gift basket by putting the white teapot in a basket big enough to hold it, surrounded by boxes of tea, tea cups and a good book to read.

What are the dimensions of white teapots?
White teapots are usually sixteen, 18, thirty six or sixty four ounces. Sixteen ounce teacups hold two standard cups of tea. 18 ounce teapots hold 3 cups of tea. 30 6 ounce teacups handle 4 cups of tea. Sixty four ounce teacups carry between six to eight cups of tea.

My issue on white teapots wasn’t listed in these six questions. Any other suggestions?
Decent web discussion groups focused on white teapots are tricky to find.  One forum that is useful, though, is the white teapot forum at http://white-teapot.bidandblog.com .  The forum is one of the only free web discussion groups that offers user-provided answers to every white teapot question that you can imagine.  Plus the forum has realtime white teapot auctions and a free of charge white teapot email alert service.  Plus, there’s practically always a user on the forum that is able answer any white teapot question.
